It's Hip to be CUBE~Polaroid Cube Lifestyle Action Camera Review

Now that our kids are getting older, we are becoming a bit more adventurous as a family (and it also helps that my husband actually brings home a paycheck after being in dental school for so long). We are taking a family cruise in November, and I really wanted to get a camera to take with us that was waterproof and perfect for the excursions we have planned. I was really excited to review the Cube from Polaroid and have been having a great time playing around with it!

The Polaroid Cube is probably the cutest little camera/video camera that I have ever seen. I was sent a Cube in the blue color (my favorite) and couldn’t wait to see what it could do. It’s square design is quite simple with a lens, a magnet to hold it in place, a button on the top that controls the on/off and mode, and a tight-fitting cap on the back for the memory card and to change the HD. That’s it. So simple, yet so much fun in such a little CUBE!!

The Cube takes pictures in a high enough resolution to be sufficient for my needs, and it also record video in either 1080p or 720p. It can record videos as long as 90 minutes and that opens up a whole lot of adventure to capture for family memories. Because this camera is so durable, I feel comfortable letting my older girls play around with it. We attach it to bike helmets, wrists, and my kids want a dog just so we can send him on a high speed chase with the Cube attached to him.

Along with the Polaroid Cube camera, we received several accessories to make things even more exciting. The camera mount is perfect for bike helmets, the strap mount is great for attaching the camera to people (or the dog….that we don’t have), and the waterproof, suction cup mount adheres to flat, smooth surfaces, while the camera platform tilts for the perfect angle. The CUBE is set up for any adventure that you could possibly think up. We plan on taking it with us on our cruise to Belize & Cozumel. My girls are set on swimming with the dolphins, and I can’t think of a better way to capture the fun then with our new Polaroid CUBE mountable action camera.

You don’t have to be a PRO to use this lifestyle action camera. It is built to handle anything you or your family can dish out and it’s packed with a whole lot of FUN!!
