I attended an advanced screening of this movie.  All opinions are my own.

I have been very excited to see Interstellar.  I am a big fan of Christopher Nolan’s films.  Although I do not think it is his best film, I think Interstellar is a film worth watching.

One of the main reasons to watch this film is for the amazing visual effects.  A great majority of this film takes place in outer space.  These visual effects are really impressive in the IMAX format.  Many of the effects are mind blowing and are something I have not seen on film before.

The acting is fantastic in this movie especially from Matthew McConaughey.  He has been on a great acting streak lately and this film is no exception.  This movie is definitely carried by him, but the other performances in the film are great as well.  I would not consider any of the other actors in this movie as a ‘weak link.’

The storyline is very creative and complex.  It definitely gets your mind thinking.  I sometimes found the storyline confusing though.  I think I would like to see Interstellar again to understand the movie even more.

This is a really long movie.  It has a running time of 2 hours and 50 minutes.  I think it could have been shorter.  Also, sometimes the musical soundtrack and the film sound effects can be overwhelming and will sometimes overpower the dialogue.

For it’s amazing visuals and acting, I think Interstellar is a film worth seeing! Check out more movies like Interstellar.

Interstellar gets bragging rights!
