I received this stroller from Inglesina for my review. All opinions are my own.
If you have two young children and will be going out a doubles stroller is a must! I was thrilled to try out the Inglesina Twin Swift Double Stroller. I loved the features it was showing online and couldn’t wait to try it out for myself.
The stroller arrived, I opened the box thinking “Please let this be an easy stroller to put together” (because I was very tired at the moment, LOL).
As I opened it and pulled the stroller out of the plastic I thought: “HOORAY! It comes already put together!” All the wheels are on! Everything is ready to go, I just opened the stroller and my daughter hopped right in. She usually waits impatiently while I assemble a stroller so she was just as thrilled as I was at this instant gratification!
The only assembly that was required of me was to put on the canopys. They come as one piece and snap on fast and easy (within seconds).
“To use from 3 months to 40 lbs, the Twin Swift stroller brings all the same features you love about the Swift stroller and multiplies them by two! The Twin Swift offers a 4-position backrest, a 5-point safety harness, front swivel wheels and comfortable foam handles. You can adjust the hoods and backrest independently from one another so that each baby is happy.”-Inglesina
It fits through our house door easily and has about 2-3 inches of clearance on each side. I love that I can just wheel it outside already opened with kids already seated.
My daughter is 2 and my son is 6. Even though he is over the weight limit, he sat in the seat to help me see how it could accommodate an older child. It has a lot of room for a tall child since his head still wasn’t hitting the canopy. If he didn’t weigh as much, he could easily ride in this stroller (the weight limit is 40 lbs. per seat).
I love that the seats recline independently. One child can sleep while the other enjoys the views.
The recline can be adjusted to 4 different positions and is easy to do. You just pull up on the bars on both sides and recline the seat to the desired position. Sitting the seat up is very easy, my 2 year old could raise the seat back to sitting up all by herself.
Here are my silly kids both pretending to be asleep for the picture.
The canopys also adjust independently.
They can come all the way down in front to shade baby (when the seat is in the upright position).
The front wheels are all swivel wheels and can be locked. The 3 back wheels all have brakes. I like that I can use my foot to put on and release the brakes.
Each seat has a 5 point harness to ensure your little ones are safely secured in the stroller.
Unfolding the stroller is simple, you just unlock each side open it and press down on each black pad on the back. To close the stroller you have to push up on the two back black pads and push down on the small grey side pad. Then the stroller folds easily and automatically locks on each side.
For a double stroller it folds compactly and isn’t too heavy. I can easily load it in and out of the trunk of my car.
I love this side by side double stroller and highly recommend it!
