I live in Arizona and the summers here can be brutal. So hot!! Besides being outside, the worst time for me to be hot is while I am trying to sleep. Finding great products to keep me cool while sleeping are a must.
I just got this Cooling Comforter on Amazon and I must say, it’s a clear winner! It is nice and cool but then also keeps you from getting too cold. It really is the best of both worlds. It seems a little impossible when you think about it. It is just thick enough to be light weight while still having the ability to keep me warm. The cooling effect really works best when the AC is on. It turns nice and cold. If I start to feel too warm I can flip it over and get a nice cold blanket again.
It is soft and has a silky feel. It’s a very nice feeling on my skin. My daughter fell in love with this comforter right away and has been using it every night as her new must have blanket. I think I will have to buy another for me!

Another must have item for me is the 10″ Foldable Pedestal Floor Fan that recently arrived at my house from Amazon. I don’t have a ceiling fan in my room (had to have the sparkly light fixture of course) so I was in need of a fan for my bedroom.
My favorite things about this fan are ; One- It is cordless and I am loving that I have the option to put it anywhere in my room. No tripping on cords or being limited to being near the wall. Two- It has a remote control. This is an especially nice feature for the middle of the night. I can adjust the fan speed, turn it on and off, etc…without having to get up.
This fan does a really good job of cooling my pretty big room. It would do well in living room or family room. It has the option to stay still or to rotate giving it an all over the room effect. The combo of this fan and the comforter above is a good one. Together they do a great job of making summer sleeping much cooler and bearable.
