A simple smile or hello can be so powerful. Don’t you think? What about a quick kiss to your spouse when they least expect it? It can be a day changer. From a sour mood to a happy one.
Happiness really does keep the world spinning round and round and in a positive light too. I find sharing happiness as a powerful tool to help others out. When you smile at someone, they in turn smile at another person, and the circle continues on and on and on.
Think of a day when you were having a rough time? When someone reached out to you or smiled at you, didn’t it make your whole day? How about when someone surprised you like your husband or friend with a card or note. Have you taken the time to reach out to someone when they were at a low point? I am sure you have. Such as sending flowers or a hand written note. These littlest of things can mean a whole lot to the person who receives them.
My family consumes my whole day. From sun up to sun down I am taking care of them. This is one way that I show them how much I care about them. From cleaning up, cooking, and doing laundry. I go non stop. But day to day life can become so routine, that I have decided to take a new approach and try to incorporate a little “Happiness” at least once a day. From leaving my husband a note on his laptop, to leaving a handful of candies on my little bugs place mat at the table. That’s my little way of adding happiness to our everyday life. I just love seeing them smile. There is nothing better than that. It makes me so happy in return, because it makes our home a happy one.
Imaging the outcome of happiness if everyone took the time to spread some happiness for just a few minutes each day. It would be amazing. I am challenging all of you to take a few minutes and think of a way that you can share happiness in your everyday setting. What ways can you let your family know how much you care about them? Do something unexpected and watch the sheer joy that will come across their faces. It will make you smile in return.
