My whole family loves the Hotel Transylvania movies. I even think I like the 2nd one more than the 1st! So we were all excited about Hotel Transylvania 3. (Check out Nicole’s review of Hotel Transylvania 3). This 3rd movie was an instant hit with all 3 of my kids (ages 10,6, & 2) and they have already watched each day since we got it.

I thought it was cute and it made me laugh, but I personally didn’t like it as much as the first two movies. For me, it was missing the sweetness of a parental love storyline that drove the first two movies. This one had more of the same old “villain’s gonna get you” storyline. Also, I didn’t think there were as many jokes for the parents (the second movie is chalk full). That being said, my kids laughed A TON, even my 2-year-old was giggling and screaming with excitement throughout the movie. For this reason, I recommend it as a fun movie for kids and a great family movie night choice!
