I attended an advanced screening of this film. All opinions are my own.
“HIDDEN FIGURES is the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)—brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.”-©20th Century Fox
My husband and I have both been so excited to see HIDDEN FIGURES. After watching it, we both loved it!
I loved how inspirational this movie was. I love that a movie was made to highlight these incredible women who made such a difference in helping get John Glenn into space. I am so glad their story was finally told.
This movie has a great ensemble cast that is led by such an incredible group of women. I thought that the whole cast did a remarkable job.
HIDDEN FIGURES is rated PG “for thematic materials and some language.” This movie was pretty clean content wise. Although it is PG, I do not think that this movie will hold the attention of little kids. If you have older kids, this would be a great movie to see together as a family.
I definitely think that HIDDEN FIGURES is a must-see. I have been recommending it to my friends and family. I loved it and will be seeing it again soon!
