My kids absolutely LOVE Henry Hugglemonster! I mean Love as in OBSESSED! It was a no-brainer to say yes when I was asked to review the Henry Hugglemonster: Meet The HuggleMonsters DVD. They were so excited when I mentioned that we were going to be getting the new Henry HuggleMonsters DVD that they were reminding me every day to check the mail. Taylor would literally be shaking me saying “Mommy! Mommy! Mommy, Did the mail come today yet????” It did not stay in the packaging for more than maybe 20 seconds as soon as it arrived. The DVD also comes with 2 iron on decals! We have not used them yet but we plan to shortly!
I am not afraid to admit that I do enjoy some of the children’s cartoons that we watch together and some not so much. Henry Hugglemonster is definitely one of the shows that I do enjoy watching with them. I think it is really cute. I like how he has a good friendship with his sister and loves his baby brother. I like how he problems solves his troubles and the love that his family show for one another! I find that Henry Hugglemonster is not one of those mindless cartoons with silly jokes that really make no sense. My 4 year old, 2 year old, and even my 1 year old were not disappointed by this DVD at all! My oldest son likes that the Hugglemonsters have the same amount of children as we do as a family. He enjoys that he has so much in common with Henry. He even wanted to start a lemonade stand with Juliana after watching the episode about the Hugglejuice stand. There is a lot of good lessons that Henry learns about growing up that Taylor has taken and used in his own way to help grow up too.
