The House of Blues Anaheim Crossroads is located in the Downtown Disney District. We stopped in for lunch and had a fantastic experience. From the minute you walk in the door the House of Blues has a fun and relaxed feel.
The hostess was friendly and explained the specials. She also let us know that their menu was created by Food Network Star and Celebrity Chef Aaron Sanchez.
“Our delicious cuisine is a mix of American and international dishes created by one of the hottest chefs in America, Food Network star and celebrity chef Aaron Sanchez. Appetizers to please are the perfect opening act before diving into juicy steaks, tantalizing salads and decadent desserts. Our burgers are even better than scoring a backstage pass. So whether you’re in the mood for our tender center-cut Adobo Rubbed Pork Chop or the Shrimp & Grits with its seductive and crispy fried grit cake, there’s a little something for every rockstar on this menu. Chef Aaron’s menu is bold yet classic and has a contemporary twist that will leave your taste buds singing all the way home.”
Our waitress came right away and was so nice! She provided us with great service.
We started out with an appetizer, we chose the
Spinach and Artichoke Dip “A blend of cream cheese, Mozzarella, Asiago, chopped spinach and artichokes, freshly baked and served with pita chips.”
It was delicious! The Pita chips were nice and crunchy and complimented the very flavorful dip.
We couldn’t decide on just one item for lunch so we decided to order 2 entrees and share half of each. We ordered the
French Dip “Roast beef, sautéed bourbon onions, Provolone cheese, au jus, creamy horseradish served on a french roll. This French Dip Sandwich was delicious and so full of flavor! So good! and we ordered theBuild Your Own Burger “Certified Angus beef patty or Jamaican spiced turkey patty, on a brioche bun. Toppings: Sautéed bourbon onions, rajas (spicy peppers and onions), smoked BBQ sauce, wild mushrooms, American cheese, Cheddar cheese Premium Toppings: Applewood bacon, Pepper Jack, Swiss cheese, Bleu cheese, avocado”
The burger was excellent and even came with homemade pickles on the side. The fries were very good as well.
The kids got kids meals,
Pasta with Housemade Marinara
and the
Chicken Tenders “With choice of fresh fruit or fries”
They both loved their food and gobbled it up!
Our food and our experience was excellent! I highly recommend visiting the House of Blues at Downtown Disney on your next trip to Disneyland!
