We enjoy eating rice quite often so when Hamilton Beach offered to send me their rice cooker/steam to review I was very happy!

It comes with a ladle, rice spoon, and rice measuring cup, you can also make use of it as a slow cooker for preparing delicious soups and other food items whenever you want.
I LOVE the Hamilton Beach Digital Simplicity Deluxe Rice Cooker/Steamer! It makes preparing rice so simple which is great for me since it is one less thing to worry about. I can just start it and not worry about it again.
It has one touch cooking, so you just press the button of which function you want to use and then it will cook automatically switch to the stay warm setting.
It has a 4-20 cup capacity so you can make a little rice for a small family, or a lot of rice for a large group or family.
For example to make rice you just add the amount of rice and water you need (1 part rice to 2 parts water). Then close the lid and press either the white rice or whole grain button. It will show as on and will cook your rice. Once it is finished it will switch to warm automatically.
I made brown rice in it for dinner and it was very easy and the rice turned out perfectly!
I love that you can make a large variety of foods in this one appliance. It has a boil/simmer setting where you can set it to simmer for your choice of time after it boils. It has a White rice setting, a whole grain setting, and a steam cook setting. You can also press the warm button to keep your food warm (press it twice to turn off the cooker). I love that because of all these extra setting you can cook rice, steam vegetables, make pastas, beans, soups, and more.
It also has a delay start function which allows you to set it to start cooking up to 15 hours in advance.
It comes with some recipes in the manual as well, one is an oatmeal recipe you can set to start cooking for the morning. It sounds super yummy, I can’t wait to try it.
