I was chosen to be a part of the Fit Made Fun day with the new Leapfrog Leap Bands and Clif Kid’s Protein Bars! I was so excited when I received our package. Leap Frog sent us 2 of the Leapbands and Clif sent us a ton of boxes of their yummy Clif Kid Zbar!
We decided to host our party at the local park by my house since it was such a gorgeous day that day. Leah and Charlotte invited a bunch of their friends to come play, exercise and try and break the world records! There were groups around the United States that got together on September 6th, 2014 for National Fit Day. Moms and Families around the country wanted their kids to know that Fitness can be fun!
The new Leapbands from Leapfrog promotes fitness in the most fun way ever! The girls and there friends really enjoyed getting out and enjoying getting fit while of course having fun. We decided to play a bunch of the games that we found in our press packet and they were a hit.
Let me tell you a bit about the band first. The Leapband tracks your activity, gives audio challenges and awards jewels when you complete the task. While wearing the band you can select a virtual pet and based on how active you are is how you can unlock other pets to train and earn jewels. The leapband comes with 14 preloaded challenges and parents can set up to 36 challenges!
Charlotte and Leah and their friends had so much fun walking like turtles, jumping like kangaroos, reaching to the sky and clapping, hopping like frogs and more! The kids loved getting active and they knew that there were other kids all around the US getting active outside too!
I think the funniest was when brother and sister had to race against each other, one pretending to swim like a fish and the other having to crawl like a turtle! The kids really had fun wearing and using the bands. They kept checking the progress of their teams pets and jewels and just had a blast!
Clif bar sent us a bunch of different boxes of their zbar protein bar and the kids loved them! The kids were so tired out from running, jumping, racing that the protein bars really hit the spot.
