Check out what people are saying about Texture:
PCMag — Netflix-Like Magazine App Next Issue Is Now ‘Texture’
Stephanie Mlot emphasizes how much you can do with the new app, “Gather and cultivate your own favorites—be it a perfect gift idea from Real Simple or an enthralling cover story in Esquire—to read later in My Collections, or share with friends via social media.” She also points out how easy it is to find individual stories using Texture’s new features including New & Noteworthy, Search and Top Stories, “If you’re looking for recommendations, check out Top Stories, which uncovers what other subscribers are currently reading.”
TechCrunch – Netflix-Style Magazine App Next Issue Relaunches As Texture
TechCrunch wrote a great review on Texture, highlighting the differences between Next Issue and the new Texture experience. Anthony Ha specifically points out how Texture offers new ways to explore on an article level through incorporating more digital-only features. He highlights the “New & Noteworthy” section and “Collections” as being great tools to find the latest and hottest articles. Anthony emphasizes the importance of these new features, “Many of these features might sound like no brainers — if anything, it almost seems crazy to have a news-reading app without search or sharing. But it suggests Texture is at least taking steps to incorporate some of the good aspects of finding news on the web, and that it could continue to evolve.”
*The free trial is available to new users only through November 30, 2015. After your free 30 days are up, the cost is $14.99 per month.
