I attended an advanced screening of this film. All opinions are my own.

I love most Will Smith movies so I have been looking forward to seeing Gemini Man. There were several things that I enjoyed but I thought Gemini Man was just an average action film.
I thought that the action, car chases, and fighting scenes were choreographed very well. These scene were top notch.
I thought that the cast did a great job. I thought that Will Smith was believable in his role as a sniper and assassin. Mary Elizabeth Winstead was great as the female lead. She performed well in her action scenes. I really enjoyed Benedict Wong in the film. He provided many of the film’s comic moments.
I struggled a bit with some of the visual effects this movie. There were some slow motion sequences that I felt didn’t really add much to the film. In the movie, they have Will Smith playing a younger version of himself. Most of the time, the visual effect of ‘de-aging’ Will Smith worked well but there were times that I felt it was a bit distracting.
I thought the storyline was a bit predictable. It also moved a bit slow in the beginning.
Gemini Man is rated PG-13. There is some strong language and the action scenes can be quite intense. In my opinion, it is a movie for older teens and adults.
Overall, I did enjoy watching Gemini Man. I did feel it was just average but it was a good escape for a couple of hours.
Gemini Man is now playing in theaters.
