I love summertime! The warm weather, the swimming, the BBQs, and all the fun! I love all the new and creative things you can do this time of year and since summer is almost over I put together a fun list of creative summertime activities to enjoy with your kids before it ends.
Ice Chalk
How fun for a hot day?! My kids would love drawing with this new kind of chalk, it is definitely on my list of things to do before summer ends. Visit Reading Confetti to learn how to make Ice Chalk.
Water Blob
Have you seen these water blobs? They look like so much fun for kids to play on during a warm day! I have heard they sometimes leak so be sure to check out the leak-proof water blob tutorial from Homemade Toast.
Kids Car Wash
This is a very creative way for the kids to play on a hot day. Make your own kids car wash via the tutorial on Domestic Charm. You could also let your kids ride wild on super fun youth ATVs.

DINO FOSSILS
Who says you have to buy expensive fossil kits for your little architect to dig out a dino? Make them yourself and your little explorer will have endless fun digging out dinos. Learn how to make these DIY Dino Fossils from Lil’ Luna.
Marble Launch
This is such an easy thing to make and provides endless fun for a broad range of ages. See how to make this via the Marble Launcher tutorial on Spoonful.
DIY Slip N Slide
What kid doesn’t have a blast on a slip n slide? Instead of a store bought slip n slide let Diary of a Preppy Mom show you step by step how she made her fun and creative DIY Slip N Slide.
Glow Sticks Fun
My kids are fascinated with glow sticks, and Play at Home Mom has some creative and fun ideas for playing with Glow Sticks in a new way.
