From Belle to Ariel and Mickey Mouse to Winnie the Pooh, Disney princesses and various other characters are seemingly superheroes that many of us have grown up with them…
Now, we have the chance to bask in the joy of watching our children grow up with them and we get to share their excitement when the next big Disney movie hits the theaters.
Another great benefit to sharing a love for all things Disney with our children and family is the fun adventures to be had in Disneyland…
Riding the themed rides, meeting the characters in real life, and indulging in the theme park’s food make up an experience that no child – or adult – will ever forget.
The famed characters and theme parks have gained popularity around the world – from the parts of the United States all the way to China, and other areas as well.
So, before you head out to the same Disneyland you always visit, have you considered other areas where Disney might be popular?
Right now, the popularity of Disney in China is booming!
Just keep reading and you’ll see what I mean:
Disneyland in China
Opened just over a year ago, Shanghai’s Disneyland has already seen over 11 million visitors, greatly exceeding the company’s most optimistic expectations, CEO Bob Iger said in an interview with CNBC.
Iger noted that about 50 percent of the visitors are actually coming from outside the Shanghai region, as China embraces one of its newest attractions.
The iconic theme park is all part of Iger’s legacy and has taken 17 years to build – leaving Shanghai with a $5.5 billion theme park with the world’s largest golden peony sitting atop the Disney castle.
Thanks to its 11 million visitors, Shanghai’s Disneyland ranks in the middle of all of Disney’s parks – just slightly outperforming Disney’s major park in Paris. Considering that most people in the area haven’t grown up with characters such as Minnie Mouse in the same sense as their American counterparts, the park shows a mind-blowing amount of popularity.
Visiting Disneyland in China
When it comes to preparing for any trip – but especially one to a major theme park like Disneyland – it is important that you take all the proper steps to prepare accordingly.
Aside from making a travel checklist to ensure all plane tickets, passports, and other travel arrangements are in check along with making a packing list, there are a few minor things you should do as well.
In order to properly prepare for all pictures and all the walking and that your trip will entail, be sure to take good care of yourself. Start by incorporating a healthy diet into your life, get a little exercise and take good care of your skin. A healthier you will mean a much happier you, therefore a happier trip!
Pro Tip: Try looking into the benefits of quality vitamin C serum for acne and to remove white heads. Other face regimes include regular face washing, face masks, and detox water recipes.
Especially if you will be traveling out of the country, you want to ensure you and your family’s health are in top notch condition.
Final Thoughts
Not only will you and your family gain a valuable Disney experience by visiting Disneyland in China, but you will also gain a cultural experience.
There is nothing quite like experiencing first-hand just how other countries and cultures do things – and as a child, it can be such an eye-opening experience.
For the love of all things Disney, broaden your horizons and take a trip to somewhere entirely new while also still encompassing the Disney experience that you value so much.
