Befudiom is the exciting game of wacky everyday phrases that’s fun for the whole family! It will have everyone drawing, acting, shouting, spelling, and laughing all night long! Each clue is a phrase we use every day that doesn’t really make much sense when taken literally. Try to act out ‘sell you down the river,’ or even get someone to guess ‘getting your bell rung’ without using any of the words in the expression. Everyone will love this game of mixed-up meanings where everything is easier said than done! The game includes 2100 different expressions and is for ages 13 and up.
My husband and I love games. I was really excited to receive Befudiom in the mail. I think that the game has a very fun concept using idioms. Plus, this game was invented by a mom named Wendy Hampton through her participation on the television show, Everyday Edisons. The company Edison Nation helped her with licensing the game. This game is the perfect party game because it is meant to be played in teams. It was hard for my husband and I to play it with just us two. It is a lot more fun with more people. We are excited to try it out with our friends.
The object of the game is to have the other members of your team guess your team’s idiom. You roll a dice to determine how you get to give your team clues. You can act it out, draw it, give clues with talking, or write it out. With how funny some idioms are, like raining cats and dogs, this game can be quite a riot and is a very exciting game of wordplay.
This game is a great family boardgame for parents and their older children. It really fun and is a great game to add to your family collection to play at your next big party. The more people, the more fun you can have! It is available to purchase at Toys ‘R Us.
