As a busy mom of 3 little ones, grabbing food to go can be heaven-sent. My kids and I really enjoy eating at Black Bear Diner and their breakfast food is our favorite. Yum!
Due to COVID we haven’t been going out as much but we were happy to learn that right now you can get Family Meals to Go with Black Bear Diner. They are perfect for a nice family dinner at home but without all the work. These are perfect on my nights when I just don’t have time to cook but still want to give my kids a fresh homemade meal.
Since we love breakfast food, we decided to get breakfast for dinner. We received the Bacon, Eggs, and Pancake Family Meal. Since we don’t eat bacon they were kind enough to let us substitute their potatoes instead. It comes with 8 Scrambled eggs and 8 slices of thick-cut bacon served with 4 sweet cream pancakes and syrup. (As I said above, I subbed potatoes for bacon). They also give you utensils and needed condiments, like butter, ketchup, and syrup.
The food was fresh and ready for us when I arrived to pick it up. It was still nice and warm when got home. I have to say that I really appreciate that they use quality plastic to-go containers rather than styrofoam. It gives a better presentation but also helps keep the food quality and warmth as it travels. Leftovers stay fresher longer in the fridge when stored in these sturdy containers as well.
Back to the food…The meal was super delicious! The potatoes and eggs were cooked perfectly and the pancakes were a dream. If you haven’t had Black Bear Diner pancakes you are definitely missing out and should get on that right away.
Everyone in my family was happy with dinner and that is a huge win for me as a mom!
It was a ton of food and plenty for my 3 kids and me. The leftovers even fed my son and daughter lunch for a couple of days as well.
It was such an enjoyable and quality dinner and comes highly recommended by this mom.
