Schools out for for another couple of weeks, but that doesn’t mean my kids don’t need some educational activities to keep their brains from turning to mush . I was happy to review the Multiplication Slam & Nancy B’s Science Club MoonScope and Sky Gazer’s Activity Journal from Educational Insights! My kids were pretty excited as well and couldn’t wait to get their hands on them!
“The slammin’ new way to master multiplication! Features five fun multiplication games that reinforce important multiplication concepts for numbers 1–9. Read the problem, scan the possible answers, and slam the one that’s correct! Better move quickly, though—each game is timed and the faster you get through the questions, the better your score! Missed problems are recycled until they are answered correctly, ensuring comprehension and mastery. Increasingly difficult levels, flashing lights, and fun sound effects keep kids slammin’ for more!”
My daughter will be in 3rd grade and she is at the perfect age for the Multiplication Slam game! She hasn’t learned a lot of multiplication in school yet, but she knows enough to get several answers correct. Each time she plays, she learns a bit more and once school starts up again, this game will be the perfect thing to help her with her math skills! I love that the game has a timer because it helps her prepare for the timed ‘tests’ that she gets during the year to see how she has progressed. Once she masters the first level, we can increase the difficulty so she is always being challenged. What a fun educational game!

The Nancy B’s Science Club MoonScope and Sky Gazer’s Activity Journal has been a big hit in our house. My kids haven’t had the chance to use it at night time….since it doesn’t get dark until well after their bed time, but that hasn’t stopped them from enjoying it! They love taking the scope outside and exploring the sky. One of the great things about this MoonScope, is that it is actually a telescope, so my kids can also look at cool things that are NOT in the sky also. It gives them more options! The MoonScope comes with 2 eye pieces that are different strengths so there are lots of objects to look at!! The Sky Gazer’s Activity Journal is full of fun activities for my kids to do with the MoonScope. It gives us tips, and explains exactly how to do each activity. I can’t wait for it to get dark earlier so my kids and I can do some of the night activities listed in the journal!
“Grab your MoonScope and take a tour of the nighttime sky complete with visits to the stars, Saturn, Jupiter, and even check out the mountain ranges, seas, and craters on the moon! The Sky Gazer’s Journal is packed with fun activities, like learning about the lunar phases, writing a moon myth, creating your own man in the moon, and more!”
