I received this playhouse from Little Tikes for my review. All opinions are my own.
My kids love to play pretend, and I love to see them learning through play. One of their favorite things to play together is “house”. So they were both excited when we received the Little Tikes Go Green Playhouse for them to enjoy!
This playhouse does require a lot of work to put together. It isn’t hard, but there are a lot of pieces so it takes quite a bit of time. I did it in about an hour give or take, I wasn’t timing it and took some breaks. Plus side, it is made in the USA!
But once it was put together it was so fun to see how excited my kids were. Especially my 3 year old daughter. They immediately started playing and have spent so much time playing in this house since (Check out the video below). I love that it is all green and teaches my kids about helping the environment. There are no batteries needed. The doorbell is similar to a bicycle bell and the light is solar powered.
The real working sink is a big hit! I like that it isn’t overly large so we are able to fit it on our patio without it taking up a crazy amount of space, but it is still big enough for my kids to enjoy playing pretend with it. So if space is an issue, then this playhouse is a great choice.
A very fun feature is that you can plant flowers and grass in the planter as well as on a part of the roof (see images at bottom of post). I also really like that the rain gutter catches the rain water and stores it to be used to water the plants.
