I received a Dyson Vacuum for review, all opinions are my own.
I am so excited to be sharing the Dyson V6 Absolute Vacuum that will be featured on QVC starting at Midnight till 11:59 pm ET on August 16, 2015. What I love about this vacuum is how light weight it is and did I mention it’s cordless? I love that I can take this vacuum wherever I go and I don’t have to worry about where to plug it in! And Dyson v6 battery is also easily available in case you need a replacement later.
I also love how many attachments that it came with. I can vacuum under my couch, my stairs, under the girls beds, crib, my ceiling fan etc. and not have to move any furniture or strain my back!
“Dyson technology tackles debris big and small.
V6 Absolute: Two Dyson engineered cleaner heads. One machine.
Big debris or microscopic dust? Most vacuum cleaners suck up one or the other, leaving either crevices full of dust or piles of Cheerios snow ploughed to the wall. Dyson’s latest cordless machine reinvents the way you tackle dirt, big and small, ensuring particles of all sizes are sucked up and flung into the bin. HEPA Filtration to capture allergens and expel cleaner air. Removes 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.
The problem:
To pick-up fine dust, a machine needs to have a tight all-round seal to the floor. Keeping this seal means that larger particles, like rice or large cereals, pile up in front of the machine. Introduce a gap for this large debris and the machine is no longer sealed, the suction drops, and fine dust is left behind.
The solution:
Using a soft roller cleaner head, Dyson engineers have radically redesigned the traditional cleaner head so that it tackles both big and small debris. Rather than strips of hard bristles, the soft roller cleaner head has a full width roller, covered with a soft nylon material and rows of carbon fiber filaments.
Large debris are enveloped by the soft material and flung inside the cleaner head, while the antistatic qualities of the carbon fiber filaments gently remove fine dust, without damaging floors.
James Dyson said, “To engineer a machine that tackles both fine dust and larger debris, like Cheerios, we needed to change the way we pick-up the dirt from the floor. The power of our patented V6 Dyson Digital Motor, combined with our revolutionised cleaner head, means V6 Absolute can tackle dust and that pesky cereal.”
V6 Absolute is also the first cordless machine to include two Dyson engineered cleaner heads: soft roller cleaner head, as well as Motorhead. The soft roller cleaner head uses a larger roller covered in soft woven nylon, while Motorhead features a second, direct drive motor and stiff nylon bristles for powerful performance on carpets.
