I received these products from Disney for my review. All opinions are my own.
When I was in LA for the #DisneyInHomeEvent I got a fabulous goodie bag of Maleficent and Sleeping Beauty items.
I was so excited to try out the Good vs. Evil Makeup from Disney Consumer Products.
“Channel your inner Disney Princess (or villain!) with a beauty collection that embodies the characteristics, stories and personalities of Disney’s beloved heroine, Aurora, and villain, Maleficent. The collection includes look books, eyelashes, and cosmetic bags.”
Right off I just have to say that I love the product packaging. The illustrations are gorgeous!
I received the Let the Drama Begin Collection. It comes with an eye shadow palate, a mascara, and an eye liner pencil.
I decided to try out 2 looks that could be worn as regular daily makeup. A Maleficent inspired look and an Aurora inspired look.
For the Maleficent look I used the purple, black and silver shadows along with the black glitter eyeliner pencil. I like that this is a bolder look that would be very fun for a night out on the town.
For the Aurora look I used the gold and rose colored shadows and the brown shadow to line my upper eye. I really like this look since it is very soft and perfect for everyday wear.
I was extremely happy with the results for both looks and since I did them at the same time on different eyes you can see them both side by side. I think they are both gorgeous in their own way.
With Halloween coming up you could definitely use this makeup to get more drastic and fun looks as well.
I was also given these very fun false lashes. I am actually unable to wear false lashes but I absolutely love how fun these are! You can’t really tell in the pic but the top Aurora lashes have rhinestones on them. So adorable and fun! They would be perfect for Halloween and also great for daily use.
The products from the collection are available at Walgreens.
