I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for CWIST. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
CWISTs are education, community service and outdoor challenges for kids’ with a twist.
Parents and teachers come together to create CWISTs for kids to complete. The challenges range from volunteer work, to daily chores. It encourages children to complete their CWIST challenges and earn rewards for doing so.
I have been using CWIST with my son for about a week now and we have both been enjoying it. I really like the great variety and range of challenges I can choose for him to do.
I love that each challenge is so detailed. For example we did the “Eat with your Mouth Closed” CWIST. It’s always good to teach a boy some manners! I like that it gives us a lot of information and resources like YouTUbe videos, printables, and activities to use to teach him about eating with his mouth closed. Then the challenge is to do it for 15 days straight to earn his reward. His reward (which I chose) is a Blue Suitcase by Lego! He is very excited to earn it and has been doing very well chewing with his mouth closed.
My son really likes the wishes (rewards) aspect. He is learning that when he does what he’s been asked he will be rewarded. CWIST is a great way to teach him this. I can link wishes to each CWIST challenge. I also like that kids can login on their end (once they are older) and complete their CWISTs on their own. Once they have you can login to your parent dashboard and see what they have done and reward them.
I really like seeing him get so excited about learning and completing challenges. I can’t wait to do some community service and giving back CWIST challenges with him. Speaking of that…
CWIST is currently running their Kids CWIST for Kids program. Kids can do their CWIST challenges and earn gifts to give to kids in need. It is such a great way to teach your child to give back this holiday season.
We are really enjoying CWIST and I highly recommend that all parents sign up and use it with their kids! Sign up today, It’s FREE! www.cwist.com
