I love finding cute shirts that are comfy to wear too! Being a Mom I have learned that I don’t need to look frumpy…well at least not all the time! I can wear cute shirts and still be comfortable! I came across Printed and Proper on one of my friends Facebook page and HAD to check them out!
I decided to pick out a few shirts that I knew would be comfortable and cute. I also found one that I fell in love with because of the meaning behind the shirt. I absolutely love the Pancreatic Cancer Psalm 91:4 shirt. Not only was it a beautiful purple color and so soft, it had a great message.

My grandfather passed away in May 7 years ago, from Pancreatic Cancer. Although all forms of cancer are devastating – pancreatic cancer has a very low level of awareness, as well as low survival rates. Pancreatic cancer is difficult to detect, the symptoms are often vague or mimic other illnesses – and for many patients, because of that, a diagnosis comes too late. It can also be difficult to treat, and few patients are a candidate for surgery.
When compared to other national cancer advocacy groups – support for pancreatic cancer research is hugely lacking. So – that’s where you come in! What a kind gesture it is to have your own custom printed t shirts in bulk to spread awareness.It is my sincere hope that with this shirt, we can all help carry on my family’s mission to create awareness and hope surrounding pancreatic cancer. Maybe one day, that diagnosis won’t be so scary.
Right here in my hometown of Grand Rapids, MI – we have the VanAndel Institute. They are doing groundbreaking research in regards to pancreatic cancer (as well as many other wonderful things!). My family has had the honor of meeting the doctors doing the research, and because of amazing underwriting, VAI is able to use 100% of the funds donated for actual research. So that is where the proceeds from this shirt will go – directly to a medical research institute that is making an impact on this disease every day.
So…why the feather? Psalm 91:4 says “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” To me…this verse is a reminder that we have comfort and protection from our loving God, as we walk through this broken world on our way to our heavenly home.

This cute shirt is really comfortable and has a more flowy feel than form fitting.
