My 5 year old Leah absolutely loves doing art projects and crafts. I was really excited when Crayola sent me the Color Explosion and the Color Explosion Metallic Pack to review!
When Leah saw these 2 fun packs she couldn’t wait to start a craft. Crayola has some really fun Halloween crafts and projects to do with kids so we decided to pick a couple and make them work with the 2 packs that we received.
Leah really liked the idea of the Haunted Pumpkin Patch and it actually called for the Color Explosion Pack! So we made some cute pumpkins and a bat and I let Leah go to town with decorating them! It was really easy to do because Crayola had really simple how to instructions. I think our project turned out pretty awesome! I used tape to tape up the pumpkins and bat and then taped the leaves onto the pumpkins and another piece of the Color Explosion paper.
The next project I decided to do was the Boo! Puppets. Now I didn’t have all the materials for that so I just cut out a bat and ghost with the Color Explosion Metallic set and let Leah decorate the bag. She had so much fun with these 2 crafts! I love that Crayola not only tells you step by step how to do these Halloween crafts but tells you all of the supplies that you will need. Leah really enjoyed using that stencils that came with both sets. She loves that each paper is going to be a surprise, mystery design. Just use the markers found in each set and wait for the colors to appear magically!
Crayola has some other really great projects too!
