When it comes to humidifiers, Crane sure knows how to make them. I have really been enjoying my new Rain Drop Cool Mist Humidifier. Right off I love the look of it. It just looks great, the shape is very appealing. It is whisper quiet while running, and has a variable mist output control so I can adjust it to exactly what I need it to be. The water tank is removable and is easy to remove fill and replace. The running time is about 11 hours which is perfect for little Bug’s room (since he sleeps for about 11 hours at night). There is an auto shut off so once the tank it empty the humidifier shuts off on it’s own. We have all been sick lately (curse the flu season!) so this humidifier has been helping us a ton. I run it in our family room during the day and in Bug’s room at night. I love our new humidifier, and I highly recommend a Crane USA humidifier to have in your home.
Crane has also taught me the importance of cleaning humidifiers. I think most people don’t know how to clean and maintain their humidifier. Here are some important cleaning instructions: Bacteria can collect in sitting water. It is VERY important to clean humidifiers properly.
• Empty water basin and water tank daily.
• Disinfect week with 2 Tablespoons of white vinegar and ½ gallon of fresh water. Let solution sit in water basin and water tank 30 minutes. Rinse to remove vinegar smell.
