My baby girl is growing so fast, I can hardly believe she is 8 months already! She is at such a fun age and is starting to be aware of everything around her. She enjoys stroller time now and loves being able to see things as we walk outside and in the mall. I was beyond thrilled when Contours sent me their Options 3 Wheeler Stroller to review.
It arrived and I couldn’t wait to put it together. It comes in a lot of pieces so expect a little time putting it together. I found it to be a really simple process and it took me about 30-40 minutes to get it all set up.
Once it was all put together I began checking out the features of the stroller and I fell in LOVE immediately!
First thing, I love how easy the seat is to take off and put on. It makes switching the seat from forward facing to rear facing SOOOOOO easy! Yep, you can have baby face you or face forward. This is really nice for younger babies that want to see mom & dad (or you want to see them) as you are out and about.
The next thing I noticed that I really love is how it reclines to laying down. This is so great for when baby girl is tired and wants to sleep while we are out. She is so cozy and comfortable laying all the way back. (I have to laugh cause this image looks like she is “fake” sleeping but she is just blinking due to the camera flash, LOL) It also comes with an infant head support so it makes her even more cozy providing a cushion around her head. The fabric on it is a micro-fleece so it is nice and soft. The footrest is also adjustable so you can have it raised up for a baby and lowered for a toddler/older child.
Next, I love that I can remove the seat and put her infant car seat on using the included car seat adapter and strap.
I really like the large basket underneath. I can easily fit my diaper bag and several shopping bags in it. The parent tray has a large bin for your keys, phone, etc. and 2 ventilated cup holders. The brake bar makes it really easy to put on the brakes and take them off as well.
The child cup holder is removable. I find that it is better to removed it before you fold the stroller cause it may fall off and get lost. I like to store it inside one of the parent cup holders (it fits) and that way you know where it is and it won’t get lost. The front bar is super easy to unclip and it swivels so your child can get in and out with ease.
The canopy is adjustable to grow with your child and has a peek-in-window so you can check on your child. Canopy can also be brought all the way forward to block the sun if it is in front of your child.
This stroller is very easy to fold and open. You just simply pull up on the 2 red tabs and it folds. The Folded size is: 27″ W x 17.5″ D x 46″ H. Once folded it can stand on it’s own which is so nice for storage.
I love how well this stroller maneuvers, the front swivel wheel makes it so easy to steer (I can use just one hand to turn it). You can also lock the front wheel if you don’t want it to swivel. My husband is tall and he likes that the handle bar is taller and more comfortable for him to push the stroller. I am short (only 5’ 4’’) and find it to be comfortable for me as well. Win Win.
The stroller weighs 27.8 lbs. which is nice since I am able to lift it in and out of my trunk on my own. The max weight capacity for this stroller is 50 lbs.
