Leah my 7 year old has a goal to read each day for 20 minutes for homework. At first she really struggled with doing this. She didn’t want to take time out of playing to have to sit down and read. So I came up with a great idea! Every day she read she will get a sticker, once she hits 20 stickers she can pick any treat that she wanted from anywhere. Well she hit her 20th sticker and where did she want to go…Sonic Drive In of course! I was really excited to take her there, so we decided what better way to celebrate than with a party in our car! We decorated the inside of our van with balloons, sign, streamers and some fun decorations!
Once we got to Sonic, the girls could not contain their excitement! I wanted to try the new Sonic Cake Shake and chose the Vanilla Birthday Cake Shake. This shake is made with rainbow sprinkles, cake batter frosting, and vanilla birthday cake pieces hand-mixed into real vanilla ice cream! Let me tell you it was one of my favorite shakes to date! I could only drink a bit of it because I am lactose intolerant so my husband had the rest. He absolutely loved it!
