Finished it looks like this when it is in. Yep, it stands straight up! No more falling to the back of the seat.
Once it was installed, the final test was seeing if it made a difference when loading my toddler in his seat. It did! It is so nice to just have the buckle right there! My husband thinks it the best thing! He actually got online and ordered another CarSeat Lasso for my daughters seat, the next day!
