I am always looking for fun printable activities to use in my classroom.  I was excited to receive a couple of items from independent seller Cara Taylor on the website Teachers Pay Teachers.

Cara Taylor sent me two fantastic packets from her Teachers Pay Teachers store that I was excited to try out.  The first one I tried out was her Hi Ho, Hi Ho. It’s Off to Work We Go! 30+ Attention Grabber Posters.  I have loved using these in my classroom.  They are such fun ways to get my students’ attention.  My students love the ones I have taught to them.  They love when I say “Peanut, peanut butter” and my students respond ” and Jelly!”  Another of my students’ favorites is when I say “Shark bait” and they respond “brew ha ha.”  These are have been so fun.  They would be great to use if you work with children in any large group setting.  Cara has made cute little posters for each attention grabber or you can print a list that has them all.

I was also sent her ABC Learn With Me Bundle.  There are so many different activities in this packet.  There are playdough mats for all the letters, letter sound sorts, letter posters, write the room activities, and so much more.  I have used many activities from this packet in my classroom.  One of the first ones I used were the ABC playdough mats.  Playdough is an activity that my students absolutely love.  This was a great activity for them to practice letter recognition and have fun.  Cara’s playdough mats are so colorful and fun.  I do not have access to color printing at my school so I had to run them off in black and white but they look even better in color.

Another activity we have done from the packet is write the room.  This is when my students walk around the room, with a clipboard, trying to find all the words and pictures on their papers.  I love the pictures that Cara uses for the cards.  They are so cute and are words that my students relate to.  They love doing this activity.

I have already been using the letter sound sorts and other activities from this packet in my classroom.  I am excited to use many of the other activities in this packet.

Cara’s store has activity packets for many different grades and subjects.  About any activity or subject you need, Cara has probably made an activity or packet for it.  Cara also has great customer service.  She is great at responding to emails and questions that her buyers may have.

I have loved using Cara Taylor’s items in my classroom and highly recommend Cara’s Teachers Pay Teachers store.
