flipflop wines: to each, their own
“With flipflop wines, we have embraced the movement toward individualistic expression, instead of manufacturing wines into some cookie-cutter style that’s all the rage. Our goal is to craft expressive, well-balanced wines that evoke just what the grapes inside intended, without being over-wrought or over-explained, and that can be enjoyed at any occasion.”
flipflop Wines did it again! I really can’t get over how great these wines taste, while still being so affordable. I was able to review their Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and my personal favorite, their Moscato! I LOVED the Moscato. My husband and I brought it to our "night away" in a hotel for our anniversary. We chilled it on ice for a bit, and it was perfect for our night. It’s nice and light, and crisp. And of course, sweet. It’s the perfect addition to any summer night, although its so good I think I’ll drink it year-round! The Chardonnay was also delish {can you tell I’m a "white" drinker?} Their website said it’s good paired with Mac&Cheese, which is exactly what I did. =) Only the classiest for this girl. I also enjoyed the Cabernet, but my hubby drank most of it. He really liked it. I definitely recommend Flip Flop Wines to anyone- wino, or not!
I really enjoyed the other flipflop wines we reviewed (see those reviews here). So I was excited to get to try 3 more. I love the taste of flipflop wines, I love the price, and even more I love that they help those in need through Soles 4 Souls. This time around I was able to try the Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Moscato. I really enjoyed all three. My husbands favorite was the Cabernet and my favorite was the Moscato. It is so yummy! And it’s award winning:
“flipflop Moscato is one of the top medal-winning wines across 15 major wine competitions. The flipflop Moscato earned Double Gold at the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest, most influential international wine competition in America. In addition, none other than Wine Enthusiast Magazine gave flipflop Moscato a “Best Buy” in the June issue of the magazine.”
