I received a Burp Necessity for this review, all opinions are my own.
I wish I would have known about the Burp Necessity when I had my girls. I always have babies that have acid reflux and spit up and barf all the time. It doesn’t matter if they just ate or an hour later. I have ruined some of my clothes and the babies because they spit up all over me.
I absolutely love the Burp Necessity and can’t wait to use it for this baby girl. This is a great gift for any new mom, it’s perfect for burping, nursing and keeping your clothing clean! I love how many different styles and patterns that it comes in and it’s super cute on and off! One side is the pattern and the other side is a soft minky fabric!
“Keep your clothes from getting spit up and drool while still looking fashionable! Stays in place so no more worrying about a burp cloth that falls off your shoulders. Quick and easy to put on and take off.
– can also be used as a nursing cover (simply tie ends of the shawl into a knot, then bring the front to the back, knot should be behind the neck)

-absorbent
– comfortable and stays in place
-100% premium cotton print and 100% soft minky polyester. Trim 50/50 cotton/poly

Now that I know how each of my babies are this will come in handy! Even if she doesn’t spit up a ton I love that I can also use it just to burp her.
“How Burp Necessity all started…
When Kyson was about 2 months old, I was burping him and was fed up of getting spit up all over my clothes! The typical burp cloth was either not big enough or just didn’t stay put. I started to google (which I do for everything!) to see if there was something out there that stayed in place. Nothing came up so that’s when I had my Aahaa moment! I wanted to make a burpshawl™ that didn’t fall off my shoulders, and that was stylish enough to wear out in public. Every mother wants to keep their clothes still looking nice and clean when they are at a restaurant, church, mall or even just at home when they are burping their babies.
Through trial and error we came up with the burpshawl™. My wonderful mother sews while I cut patterns, she has been sewing for over 30 years. She probably can sew blindfolded. I’ve watched and helped my mom sew since I was a little girl. I love working with my mother, she is the hardest working person I know. Coming to Bellevue Washington in 1979 my family fled the horrible Khmer Rouge. Knowing what my parents went through in Cambodia inspires me to work hard and take nothing for granted. So that’s what I’m doing, is taking a chance and following my heart and dreams with Burp Necessity. We take a lot of time and care to make an excellent quality and long lasting product for mothers to use with their precious babies. I hope you enjoy using it and happy burping!” (Burp Necessity Website)
