I received 2 dresses for this review, all opinions are my own.
I love dressing my girls the same, especially when we are going out! My girls recently wore their Nandy & Molly Dhaara Belted Dress to church and they received so many compliments! I loved the way the girls looked and how well made the cute dresses were! “Hand woven Ikat fabric with 100% cotton lining. Elastic waistband. Detachable belt with shimmery sequence detail. Knee length, comfortable fit.” (Nandy & Molly website)
The girls both loved their dresses and wouldn’t take them off for the rest of the day!
These would be perfect for Christmas! I love how many unique and fun outfits that Nandy & Molly sells. They have really cute girls dresses, ponchos, skirts and more!
“Nandy & Molly is the collaboration of two friends who spent their childhoods living worlds apart. Richa grew up in the hustle and bustle of Delhi, India while Molly grew up immersed in a quiet and laid back town outside of Charleston, SC. Our clothing is designed with a sense of culture and creativity that explores the cohesion between artisan Indian techniques and a beachy, southern style. Designed in New York City, the garments feature embroidery techniques and printed fabrics from different regions of India. Through these pieces we are hoping to share the legacy and history of India’s folk art. Paying tribute to Delhi and Charleston, we love to mix vibrant colors, patterns and prints using 100% cotton for a comfortable, bohemian style that is perfect for every young girl!
Meet us:
Richa grew up in Delhi where the daily life revolves around expressing yourself through clothing. The Indian culture promotes expression of one’s individuality through colorful, intricate and unique combinations of fabric and embroidery. Richa has always loved to see the enjoyment that comes from planning and designing outfits for special occasions. Having a family in the textile business has given Richa a wonderful sense for the importance of quality in the production process. Richa’s daughter, Nandini or “Nandy”, has been the biggest inspiration in this endeavor.
Molly grew up in a small southern town outside of Charleston, SC where childhood days were spent immersed in nature. The beach and the country side have always been a huge inspiration in Molly’s creative projects. Molly studied costume design at the College of Charleston and moved to NYC after graduating. Before Nandy & Molly, she worked as a stylist for several years and did a design internship with Oscar de la Renta.
Richa and Molly met in New York City. After creating a strong friendship and sharing their backgrounds and passions, they decided to merge their talents to create an Indian inspired clothing line with a southern flare– Nandy & Molly!” (Nandy & Molly Website)
