I have fallen in love with a Travel System, yes you read that right. The Summer Infant Prodigy Travel System to be exact. It is FABULOUS! It has so many wonderful features let me start telling you about them…
First off the Prodigy Infant Car seat and Base features unique SmartScreen technology, ensuring a proper installation of the car seat every ride. Pretty impressive right?! I think so. It is the first infant car seat base I have installed and known 100% that everything is installed correctly. As a mom that peace of mind is priceless! I love how easy it is to tighten the belt as well.
The infant car seat itself features the SafeGuard 1-Adjust harness system automatic harness height adjustment allows for a fast and snug fit every time. No need to re-thread the straps. This is really nice since has a one handed adjustment and also gives me peace of mind knowing baby is secure and snug in her car seat. The car seat also comes with a newborn body and head support to make sure your tiny little one is comfy while riding. This car seat is for rear facing only and fits baby 4 to 32 lbs.
The Prodigy Travel System Stroller fits the Prodigy infant car seat inside with a simply click. Simple to remove as well.
When the infant car seat is inside the stroller your baby is completely covered from the elements.
The stroller fits children up to 50 lbs. so you will get use from the stroller from birth well past the toddler years (my 4 1/2 year old fits inside comfortably still). It has a 5 point safety harness and reclines nicely for nap time. It has a tray for your child with 2 cup holders and a snack holder in the middle. It is removable for easy cleaning.
I LOVE the very large basket underneath. I am able to fit my diaper bag and a few other shopping bags inside. Ideal for a day out with baby (they require so much). It has a one step rear break making it easy to put the brake on.
The handle is adjustable to 3 positions, great for making both mom (short) & dad (tall) comfortable to push the stroller 
It also has a parent tray with 2 cup holders and a covered compartment which is great for keys, pacifiers, cell phone, etc…The canopy is fully retractable and has a clear view window so you can see your baby or child.
It is simple to fold and can actually be done with just one hand. Once folded it stands on it’s own which is really nice for storage. I do have to tell you that it is on the larger side when folded. It definitely doesn’t have a compact fold, but for me I don’t mind since it has so many great features that out weight this. It still fits well in the trunk of my car.
