My little Bug is very excited to become a big brother soon. So when a new book for him arrived: One Special Day: A Story for Big Brothers & Sisters by Lola Schaeffer, illustrated by Jessica Meserve he was thrilled. The story is short and sweet, keeping his attention the whole time we read it. Bug LOVES the story especially the part at the end when Spencer becomes a big brother. I love that it says he is now gentle. It is the perfect way to prepare a child for a new baby to come into the family. The illustrations are beautiful on each page.
This is the perfect children’s picture book about becoming a big brother or sister. I highly recommend it to all family’s who have a new bundle of joy on the way and have a new soon to be big brother or sister.
This book is a MUST HAVE Baby Shower gift. Imagine how special the soon to be big brother or sister will be to get a gift at the shower as well!
