I have never owned a Digital Baby Video Monitor with Movement Sensor Pad so I was excited to try out this Tommee Tippee monitor. Right off I love the handheld monitor with color LCD screen. It is about the size of a smart phone (only thicker) and it is so convenient to take around my house as needed. I have been really impressed with the range (1000 Feet) and find that it works great everywhere I am in my house. 
The camera provides a really clear color image and has a zoom function as well which is really neat. It has night vision so I can clearly see baby even in the dark room at night. It even has a night light on it which can be controlled from the parent unit.
I also love that I can talk to baby from my end. I have never had a monitor that does this and I think it is really great to be able to talk to and soothe baby. This is especially nice for toddlers and older children since I can say “Are you 
alright?…everything is okay time to go back to sleep” from the comfort of my bed 
Another cool feature is that your baby’s room temperature is measured and then displayed on the parent unit. It is so nice to know if baby’s room is the right temperature, not to hot, not to cold. I am also impressed because the camera unit has a parent unit locator button. I tend to misplace things often so this is a really nice feature for me.
The sensor pad is really neat. It is placed under the crib mattress and senses baby’s movements and alerts you if there is no movement from your baby. I haven’t been able to try this feature out since my baby hasn’t arrived yet but I am very happy to have it and the reassurance and peace of mind it will provide me.
