By now I’m sure you’ve heard of Hearthsong. It is so many parents’ go-to place for outdoor toys, water and beach toys, and tents and playhouses. I was so excited to be able to review the Under the Sea Hideaway. Isn’t is so cute? I had the perfect place for it in our playroom, and the boys wasted no time jumping in and playing in it. I put it next to our book shelf, so they love to “hideaway” in there and “read” books. It’s the perfect way to create a peaceful, happy place in your house. “Dive into a fun new play experience. Our marine-blue “underwater” hideaway simulates a whimsical sea environment – a very special place where children can play with boats, pretend to be mermaids, and launch oceans of imaginative adventures. The gauzy hideaway is crowned with a colorful fabric “seaweed” ring from which 14 soft velour sea creatures – brightly colored fishes, starfish, and seahorses – dangle by Velcro® fastenings, ready to join in any fun within the hideaway or without. Hanging from a tree limb in the garden or from the ceiling over your child’s twin bed, it’s an inviting make-believe lagoon – look up and you’ll see starfish floating above you. Nylon tiebacks create a door opening for kids (and imaginary fish) to “swim” through, and everything packs tidily into a handy circular zippered vinyl storage/carrying case.” Whenever we have friends over, it’s the first thing kids run to to play with.
