My 3 year old daughter loves caring for her baby dolls. Sometimes I tease that she has started an orphanage because she has so many babies. So when I saw the VTech Baby Amaze Learn to Talk and Read Baby Doll I knew it would be a doll she would enjoy very much.

Wow! This doll is so much fun. I have honestly never seen a doll so interactive and enjoyable for my daughter. She was immediately taken by this baby as she talked to her. There is a button on the back (behind the velcro), which is the newborn button. When you press it your baby starts as a newborn and you have to teach her to talk. The first time you get her out of the box you can insert the pacifier and it will put her in newborn mode. There is also an off switch and 2 levels of volume to choose from. She comes with a pacifier (that is attached), a bottle, and 3 small board books filled with words to teach her. It comes with batteries installed so she is ready to play right out of the box.

I love seeing my daughters eyes light up as she plays with this doll. When she hears the doll repeat the word she just said she smiles so big! It is adorable. Another thing she likes a lot is that this doll says I love you, hi mommy, and asks for her bottle and pacifier. She even asks you to read to her. My daughter has been loving on this doll and teaching her new words. Even her older brother (who is 8) thinks this doll is really cool. He has been teaching her to say Spiderman 🙂 I love how it even engages an older child to want to play with it.
