My son loves to play with cars and especially cars that come with neat obstacle course type of sets. How could I resist accepting the offer to review the Trash Pack Trash Wheels Crash ‘N Junkyard Playset!? I certainly could not say no and live with myself! What a boys dream come true! Getting to play in their very own “Junkyard”! My son is no exception to the rule about boys enjoying making messes and being dirty!

As soon as we opened the box for the Trash Pack Trash Wheels Crash ‘N Junkyard Playset and he realized it was his early Christmas gift from santa, Taylor was jumping up and down! He absolutely fell in love with the playset and we could not get the box open fast enough. The set comes with 2 cars. For our family it was perfect because it came with a police car and a pink car so that Juliana was able to play with Taylor and there was no fighting! Juliana was able to play with the pink car and Taylor was the police car!

So the first thing, as a mom, that I was thrilled about was the fact that this toy was not screwed into the box!! I do not know about how all you other mommy’s out there feel but I think I can speak for us all when I say “really!? A toddler toy needs to be locked down with screws like my 2 year old is going to make a run for it in their get away training wheels!?” It was also a pleasure that even though the Trash Pack Trash Wheels Crash ‘N Junkyard Playset needs assembly, there were not a million tiny pieces. The assembly was really easy and there are other Trash Wheels Playsets you can purchase to add on to the Junkyard Playset!

The Trash Pack Trash Wheels Crash ‘N Junkyard Playset when set up has some really fun features. It has a working crane that will actually pick up the card and you can use it to drop the cars in the fenced junkyard. You can also use the crane to pick up the car out of the junk yard and drop it in the car compacter. The playset has even included the little square piece that comes out of the compacter after you squish your car! Its so cute! Once you drop the car in the compacter you pull a lever. Once the lever gets pulled the car “disappears” and when you push down on the “fire” out pops your car newly squished into a square and the actual car gets shot out of the compacter and around a ramp! You can not use the lever until you shoot your car out with the button first! My daughter is only 2 and she had a lot of fun crushing her car and then having it shoot out onto the ramp! We did end up losing that little yellow square but it still works without it and I am positive it will turn up again soon!
