My children love to watch Thomas & Friends so when I was asked to review Thomas & Friends: Santa’s Little Engine I couldn’t pass it up. All of my kids have had Thomas Tank Engines to play with and watch on TV as they have been growing up. Adding the christmas DVD to our collection was just a matter of time for this family. This DVD is really a great addition to our collection honestly. Ever since we got to ride a train pulled my Thomas my children have been somewhat obsessed with the fact that he is real. So this was really fun for them.
The DVD has about five different episodes. They all teach a separate lesson about the holiday season. My kids take those lessons to heart now since they think that Thomas is a real train. My favorite part was watching my son come running up to me and tell me that Thomas helped Santa to save Christmas for Sodor. It was so sweet to see how proud he was that Thomas helped Santa. It really is fun to watch your children get excited over the holidays and learn that its not just about the toys you get and that sometimes the true gift is just being with your family & friends. Thomas & Friends: Little Engine on DVD have a good message to kids about holiday spirit and being with family.
