It’s been really difficult trying to decide what to get my 18 month old daughter from Christmas this year. I wanted to find her something that was fun and entertaining, yet helped her with motor skills. I was sent a Playskool Poppin’ Park Pop ‘n Pick Up Elefun Toy to review, and I knew this toy would be a big hit with my little girl!
“Let your little one push, pop and pick up with a fun elephant pal! Pushing the Pop ‘n Pick Up Elefun makes colorful balls pop out of the elephant’s trunk, and it’s baby’s guess which way they’ll roll. Then it’s their job to steer the toy to roll over the balls and pick them up to start the fun all over again! The put-and-take ball play will help baby learn cause and effect and practice her gross motor skills, but your child will it’s just an elephant-powered ball. With 5 colorful balls and unpredictable surprises, the Pop ‘n Pick Up Elefun is exciting, engaging and, most of all, fun!”
My daughter couldn’t wait to play with her new Playskool Poppin’ Park Pop ‘n Pick Up Elefun Toy. She was intrigued by everything that it came with, especially the 5 balls. With all of the bright colors, it sure captured her attention!
We opened up the Playskool Poppin’ Park Pop ‘n Pick Up Elefun Toy and my husband put it together for her. All he had to do was put the handle onto the elephant body so it was a really quick set up. While my daughter waited, she played with all of the colorful balls that came with the toy. Once everything was assembled, we tried to teach our daughter how to play with the toy. It’s as simple as putting the balls into the elephant body, and pushing it along. As you push it, each ball pops out of the trunk one at a time. Then you can run the elephant over each ball and it will actually pick up the ball so that it can shoot it out again. My little girl didn’t quite get the concept right away, and she was more content to just put the balls into the elephant and then take them out again. But, I think she will get the hang of it eventually. She already loves pushing things around the house like cars and such, so this will be the perfect toy for her. Either way, she was entertained and she really loved the toy!
This toy is great for encouraging a young toddler to walk and it can also help in teaching your child colors (since the balls are each different colors). It would definitely make the perfect Christmas gift for any toddler!
