A desperate desire arose for either a constant shower of sanitizer…or a portable, clean surface I could take EVERYwhere.
Not a bulky blanket (who has room?), or something I had to plan for in advance to have with me (I am just NOT that organized!!).
I soon realized I also wanted such a solution for hotel floors. Soccer games. Spontaneous picnics. Outdoor concerts. Local festivals. Sit-ups at the park (where Fido just was, * CRINGE * again)…
And so began the search for a portable, clean surface to take EVERYwhere.

I was intrigued by the Monkey Mat travel mat from seeing it online. I honestly 
thought it was cool but I didn’t expect to LOVE it as much as I do! It is really so great and it has so many cool features!
First off I love that it is small and lightweight. When I say small I mean small when folded. Not small in space. It is actually large when spread out (5’x5’). I really like that the storage bag stays connected to the mat (so I won’t lose it) and the mat easily folds back into it when your done and zips closed. I clip the small bag to my diaper bag or stroller and that’s it. It doesn’t take up extra space in my bag or stroller. Love that.
Each corner has a weight built in to keep it in place and there are also loops on each corner if you want to anchor it down on a windy day. It is also water repellant which is nice.
I have been using this for my 5 month old baby girl and boy is it handy! When we visit family or stay at a hotel I have a clean surface for her to play! That is so priceless! I love that it has toy loops in the center so I can hook on things for her to play with. I will also use it as a mat to lay under her high chair when we travel so her mess is contained 
I am loving all the uses it has for traveling with baby. I also love that I can use it as an Outdoor Mat for picnics and play times at the park once it gets warm again.
I LOVE the Monket Mat and I highly recommend it! It is a great quality product that will get so much use from our family!
