Both my girls love books! They love to take a pile of books to bed every night and they will spend a good hour or two reading (or looking at the pictures in the case of my 4 year old). Now that Q is in first grade, we have started getting more serious about reading. She isn’t required to read for homework, but I want to make sure she is being challenged so I encourage her to read on her own. I am so glad we have these Bookmarks to help out! I set it for 10-15 minutes and it makes it a little more fun for her to read because she has the Mark-My-Time Digital Bookmark keeping track of her time (instead of mom). It’s so helpful! It’s also ideal for timing music practice sessions, timed math fact activities, meetings, homework study sessions, cooking and interval training when exercising. I think it would be great for chores too. My girls usually take their time doing ANYTHING so if I give them a set time to get things done, maybe it would help them a little!
