My son is really into the building and construction sets right now. So he was thrilled that we were sent a very fun Kre-O set to review.
The set we were sent is the Kre-O Cityville Invasion Haunted Hideaway Construction Set. My son’s face lit up upon seeing it, he immediately thought it looked really cool.
“The city-building fun of CityVille comes to life! Build your own city with the CityVille Invasion Kre-O sets and defend it from invasion. You can use the 317 pieces in this Haunted Hideaway set to build a scary castle and a combat vehicle. Then it’s time for your Agent Holster and Ian A. Allen Kreon figures to take on your Baron Batcakes and Skeletron figures! Who will win the battle? Who will your mystery Kreon figure turn out to be? There’s only one way to find out! The set’s Sonic Motion brick makes real spooky sounds! Use the 3 motion bricks to make your Kreon figures move. Build a ghostly CityVille adventure with the Haunted Hideaway set!”
We worked together to build the set, it’s a little hard for him since he is only six. The set is recommended for ages 7-14 years.
Once it was all assembled the play time began!
It comes with the haunted house, 5 little figures, and a vehicle. It has a lot of fun features.
The best being the Sonic Movement feature. When you turn it on the figures (who you place on little motion bricks) begin to move around the set. It’s very cool. It also makes spooky haunted house noises. It makes this set very fun.
It requires 3 AAA batteries to run this sonic movement feature (not included), so be sure to have those on hand.
It also has fun features like this tomb stone. You press the purple piece and the skeleton pops out.
And a draw bridge and weapon that move. It also has a little “jail” cell on the tower as my son calls it.
My son has been loving his play time with this set, I highly recommend it.
This Kre-O building set and others make great Christmas gifts!
They are available online and in stores (Walmart & Toys R Us).
