I am always looking for quick and simple ways for my students to practice letters and numbers. I was really excited to receive the ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card from Learning Resources for review.
My students at school were really excited to try out the ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card. It looked like a video game to them. One thing that I really liked is that it is really easy to use. You just choose if you want to do letters or numbers. Each category comes with 2 different activities. The games you can do with the letters is matching the upper-case and lower-case letters or filling in the missing letter in sequence of letters. For the math activities, they show you a number of dots and you select the correct amount or you can do what is the missing number in a sequence of numbers.
A great feature of the ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card is that it has a timer. After a minute, the game stops and tells how many the child got correct in a minute. The child will be able to see their progress as they improve because their score will get higher. 
Another thing I really liked about the ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card is that it uses sound to let the student know if they got the correct answer. This helps them with self correcting their own answers. I really liked this because this is something that my students can use independently and easily. I just give it to them and they know what to do. It My only complaint is that I wish there was a sound control on the Electronic Flash Card. It is pretty loud.
The ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card would be a great gift for any child this holiday season. It is educational, fun, and it is something that they can use independently.
