Traveling and holidays go together like peanut butter and jelly. Each year we travel to visit family and each year I can’t believe how much stuff we have to take with us (babies require so much equipment, lol!). We also travel a lot throughout the year as well. So I am always happy when I find a product that makes traveling easier. I absolutely LOVE the Viaggi Playard from Delta Children.

First off, it is very small and compact as well as lightweight (less than 8 lbs.). This is great not only for taking up less space in the trunk but it is also so easy for me to carry it.

It comes all ready to go right out of the box, no assembly required. I was amazed at how easy it was to open up and I had it set up in only a couple of minutes. Folding it back up was equally as easy. I have honestly never had a playard that is this easy to set up and take down. That is a huge draw for me because it is my pet peeve when I have to struggle to set up and take down a playard (I have had some stubborn ones in my day). Another feature that I LOVE is the fact that the padded mattress is sitting right on the floor. There are not bars under the mattress like with other playards. This makes a much more comfortable sleeping area for baby.

I really like the look of this playard I think it has a modern look that is really nice. I also like that it is perfectly gender neutral so you can use it for all of your babies.

Once your baby can climb out I wouldn’t recommend using it any longer. It is strong enough that if your baby stands up inside and holds the edges there are no worries. I just think if a toddler tried to climb in and out it wouldn’t be able to withstand the force over and over. Delta recommends not to use it once your child can climb out. For me that is no biggie, the features of this playard are so great I will be using it with my next baby and then once they can climb out I will just switch them to a cot when we travel.

My daughter is two and a half and although she is two big for this playard she helped my out by laying in it to see how it was. She told me she “loves this bed and it is comfy”. I agree. It is a great playard and I will very much enjoy it with my next baby.
