The Free iPad app was designed in conjunction with Excellent Play, a global leader of scientific research and knowledge about play, learning and child development. Designed to encourage children 3 to 10 to use the unique lesson plans and translucent surface to write, trace and draw.

The app features 3 levels of difficulty with each of the following segments: Tracing, Games, Directions, Numbers, Colors & Shapes, Feelings, Letters & Writing.

When a toy is educational, creative, and fun- I’m one happy Mama. The Play n’ Trace from Boogie Board eWriters is all that and more! I swear it’s magic. You write on it… and then click a button… and it disappears. Mind blown.

So, it’s really fun for adults as well as kiddos.

But I love it because it gets little hands of all ages practicing their fine motor skills in their fingers needed for writing and art. And it gets them doing that without you asking. They LOVE scribbling, drawing, writing, tracing, and then watching it all magically disappear. (And then it’s less paper all around your house!) I LOVE the idea of the tracing templates- they are fabulous! Great for helping little ones learn those early writing and drawing skills.

I also love how lightweight and compact it is- PERFECT for traveling! Nothing better for a long road trip than the Boogie Board Play n’ Trace! I love the little thumb hole too- its great for little hands and really makes them feel like an artist. =) This makes a great gift for any little one, because it’s perfect for all ages. We love our Play n’ Trace!
