When I saw Maleficent in theaters it immediately became on of my favorite movies. In fact I loved it so much I went to see it again for a second time within the same week.

It is a fantastic movie with a great story and message. Angelina Jolie is phenomenal as Maleficent! So I am so excited that Disney is releasing Maleficent on Blu-ray Combo Pack tomorrow November 4th.

In an unforgiving mood after a neighboring kingdom threatens her forest, Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) places an irrevocable curse on the king’s newborn daughter, the Princess Aurora. But as the child grows, Maleficent finds herself becoming fond of the girl. And as the conflict between the two realms intensifies, Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land.-Disney

I was beyond thrilled that I got an early review copy of Maleficent so I have had the chance to watch the movie again (still LOVE it) and check out all the great bonus features.

Because this was one of my favorite movies I was excited to sit down and watch the bonus features. I really liked seeing behind the scenes. I feel like this movie’s bonus features showed a more behind the scenes look at how it was made, especially the special effects. That was an aspect I really enjoyed. I also liked that every feature was interesting and kept my attention easily (which is refreshing since some bonus features can be boring). In the From Fairytale to Feature Film bonus, I liked hearing from Angelina Jolie that Maleficent was one of her favorite Disney characters as a child and that she was fascinated with her as well as frightened by her.

In Aurora: Becoming a Beauty I liked hearing about what Elle Fanning liked about playing Aurora and hearing about her experiences while filming. I enjoyed all the bonus features and I think they are all worth watching for sure.
