I have been wanting to get blackout blinds for Bug’s nursery for a while now. I just couldn’t seem to find exactly what I was looking for. Until I came across Blinds.com. They have so many popular blinds, I knew they would have what I needed. I ordered the 3/8″ Double Cell Blackout Shade.

I did an outside mount since we already have existing blinds on his window. My hubby installed them very quickly and he said it was very simple. I was so thrilled with how great they look in Bug’s nursery. He has a jungle themed nursery so I chose the Coffee Bean color. It is a nice chocolate brown and matches perfectly in his room. Since they are outside mount they have a bar running across the top. It has a lighter brown as an accent and it looks really nice. Another great feature is that Blinds.com made my blinds cordless for safety. I love that! But most of all I love how they block out the light. Bug ha
s been sleeping for an hour longer each morning and a half hour longer at nap time! Yes that means more time for mommy to get things done! I wish I would have had these blackout shades long ago, I could have used the extra sleeping! Not only do they block out the light but they help with blocking heat from the sun as well.
