Oh mealtime. I hate mealtime. I have uber picky little eaters, and it drains all my mommy energy getting them to try healthy food. When I heard about FunBites food cutters, I KNEW I needed to try that product. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that presentation is key. Harrison can take one look at a food and REFUSE to eat it. He’ll sit at the table for an incredible amount of time for a 3 year old. But, if I find a way to make the food LOOK appealing, that can help a lot. The first thing I tried it on was veggie burgers. Both my boys are not huge meat eaters, so getting protein can be tricky, aside from Peanut Butter or Milk. I have tried numerous times to get them to eat veggie burgers, to no avail. But when I used our new FunBites, I had success! Phew.
I used the heart/geometric shapes one, because I knew my boys would like having cool shapes. They were really so excited about them, at first I was worried they wouldn’t even eat it, but with only minimal coaxing they tried it, and both approved.
