I have to admit that I’d never considered Schwan’s as an option. I always thought it had too be super expensive, and sort of seemed like the easy way out. We’re supposed to be super moms- changing diapers, running to the park, AND cooking a fancy, delicious dinner. That was until Schwan’s sent me an AWESOME Back to School array of breakfasts and dinners.

 

 

OMG. I couldn’t contain my excitement when I opened the box. We started out making the Mini Pancakes-

Plus they meet our LiveSmart standards for fat, calories and sodium so you can feel good about feeding your family a wholesome, nutritious meal to start the day!”

 

They just smelled soooo good. And they were easy. And nutritious. My boys ate them all, and were filled and ready for their day. And my 4 year old even asked “Mom, where did you get those yummy small pancakes?” No joke. Obviously they were better than I can make. LOL. =) I love that you can see all the nutrition facts and ingredients, so you know exactly what is going into your families bodies. I learned that this is a small shortcut that I can take every once in awhile, to ease my stress, please my family, and spend more time with my kids instead of preparing meal, after meal, after meal… So then, I was still thinking they must be way over priced. But when I opened their webpage, I was first greeted with an offer of $10 off of $50 for my first order… great way to start. Then as I browsed through the meals, I was pleasantly surprised with the prices. Like the Mini Pancakes? $6.87. And there are a TON of them. I mean, add all the ingredients you have to put into pancakes and it’s not all that much less than $6.87. And soooo much less work. I mean, the food gets delivered to your door. DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR!

Next we tried the TOASTWICH® Bacon, Egg & Cheese. They were also a huge hit with my boys! I even snuck a bite, and let me tell you… Mmm Mmm!!

My favorite by far was the Chicken Alfredo Bianco Flatbread Thin Crust Pizza. This was completely restaurant quality! In the comfort of you own home. I loved that it came in two pre-packaged wraps- you can make both to serve four, or just one to serve two! Genius. And it was unbelievably good. Two thumbs up!
